Architectural Guidelines

Lakeridge is an architecturally controlled community. A specific set of design guidelines has been developed to ensure an attractive and distinct appearance for the homes of Lakeridge.

The following is a brief outline of the minimum footage requirements and special features required for Lakeridge. A complete copy of the Neighbourhood Design Guidelines is available upon request.

Minimum Square Footages

All houses in Lakeridge with the exception of walkout lots shall have the following minimum areas:

  • Bungalows
1200 SF
  • Bi-levels
1100 SF (main floor)
  • Two Stories
1400 SF
  • Split levels
1100 SF (at or above grade)

A two-car attached garage is also required.

Houses on walkout lots shall have the following minimum areas:

  • Bungalows
1400 SF
  • Bi-levels
1300 SF (main floor)
  • Two Stories
1700 SF
  • Split levels
1300 SF (at or above grade)

A two-car attached garage is also required.
